how electric
vehicles help to tackle climate change:
Plug-in
electric vehicles (also known as electric cars or electric vehicles) can help
keep your town and your world clean. In general, electric cars produce fewer
emissions that contribute to climate change and smog than conventional vehicles.
Electric vehicles are an important part of the global goals on climate change, they could limit warming below 2C or 1.5C, which would be in line with the Paris Agreement’s targets, electric cars run on electricity that is, in large part, still produced from fossil fuels in many parts of the world. Energy is also used to manufacture the vehicle in particular, the battery.
The analysis below shows the hybrid conventional car with the best available fuel economy (a 2019 Toyota Prius Eco), and a Nissan Leaf electric vehicle chart includes tailpipe(tubo di scappamento) emissions (grey), emissions from the fuel cycle (orange) which includes oil production, transport, refining, and electricity generation emissions from manufacturing the non-battery components of the vehicle (dark blue) and a conservative estimate of emissions from the producion of the battery(light blue).
Like electric cars, the list of hybrid cars available to purchase is becoming higher with different models coming from various companies such as Mitsubishi, Volkswagen and BMW. More manufacturers than ever are taking note of the cost-saving and fuel efficiency that is becoming much higher in demand since customers are making decisions to use eco-friendly vehicles. As a result, the choice of models are enormous from plug-in hybrid SUVs to hybrid small cars, emissions, regular cars emit a whole range of air quality pollution, which can damage the human respiratory system and of course even the environment. Electric cars are zero-emissions vehicles and so they don't discharge gas at all. Hybrid cars usually have a certain number of “zero emissions miles”.
Cost of the car finance is available for normal cars models, allowing the total price of the car to be paid off in installments(rate) Hybrid cars have also benefited from car finance for some time and upcoming electric cars are also now being offered for purchase in the same way. Now It costs more to invest in an electric vehicle than a regular car but by 2025 there has been research by experts to support the idea that the price will be the same. For example, the EV Nissan Leaf has a starting value of €26.242 whereas the new Nissan Micra has a starting value of €14.278. Another example is Volkswagen’s e-up which has a starting value of €24.342 whereas the latest’s up starts from €15.832.
